The Joomla! User Group Norwich was set up to bring together developers, designers, marketeers and end-users to discuss, debate, promote and improve one of the most powerful open-source content management systems around.

Who's involved?

You are. Any user group is only as good as its members. Your ideas and involvement will determine the future of the group.

How you can get further involved?

Register now! - Not only will you be helping to spread the word about Joomla!, but you can build your profile page, network with other members and get a mini ad linked to your site from ours.

Offer to manage the website - It's very basic now but will grow with time and provide a good advert for Joomla! in Norfolk so a professional image is essential. Do you want to design and maintain it?

Promote the group - Links on your site, forum postings, emails to colleagues and talking about Joomla! with friends and clients all helps.

Help organise meetings - We need a monthly/bi-monthly venue, either a pub or coffee-shop, and a hotel type venue for an annual conference. Can you find a cheap, friendly place for us to use?

Speak at an event about Joomla! - We need experienced, passionate people to educate others about Joomla! and what it can do for them. Do you have experience of using Joomla! in a unique way or some in-depth knowledge about it? Maybe you've found a new way of doing something or you've solved a bug and want to tell the world, well Norwich?

Turn up for our events - The more people who turn up for events means Joomla! will be getting out to a wider audience. Bring your friends along, bring your clients and bring your dog.
